Getting Here

If approaching from the south from Windermere, as you are coming into Ambleside on the A591, at the traffic lights by the lake, take the left hand fork (A5095) follow this road round and just as you see a 30mph road sign-the entrance to the drive for "Borrans Park" is on the right-opposite Ambleside Rugby Club. The Wansfell apartment is number 4 which is situated at the back of Borrans Park House, follow the drive round as far as you can go, and the car parking area is clearly marked as number 4. The second car parking space is by the side of the building next to the ground floor bedrooms-again it is marked with a number 4.

If approaching from the north, from Keswick-follow A591 and continue through Ambleside, where you see a petrol station in the distance on the left, take the right hand lane and turn right onto Wansfell Road (A591), at the bottom of the road turn left onto Rothay Road (A593)-the entrance to the drive for "Borrans Park" is on the left-opposite Ambleside Rugby Club.
